ULTRAMODERN KINDERGARTEN (K.G) BLOCK FOR OBRAYEKO BASIC SCHOOL

Hon. Nicholas Kofi Baako, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Assin Foso Municipal Assembly together with the Municipal Director of Education, Assin Foso, Madam Mercy Lisar on Monday, 11^th July 2022 commissioned an . The 2-unit classroom block with office, store, kitchen, and toilet facilities is a project funded by  Volta Aluminum Company (VALCO).  

The MCE in his speech stressed that, education remains a vital tool to leverage on in our quest to alleviate poverty and that every investment in education must be well applauded by all and sundry. The government is keen on eradicating poverty, hence initiating policies to develop and build the capacity of the citizenry.

Speaking at the commissioning, Madam Mercy Lisar stated that, education is the only way for the world to promote a sense of cohesion and bridge the disparity gap, particularly among those of school-going age, as well as help create an enabling atmosphere that will encourage them to live more purposeful and dignified lives. He advised parents to focus more on their children’s education as it’s through education that she has come far in life.
