DONATION TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

The Assin Foso Municipal Assembly on 23^rd December 2021 together with the Social Welfare and Community Development supported various Persons-With-Disabilities in the Municipality. This presentation was made as a result of recommendations by the social service sub-Committee.

In line with the stipulations of the guidelines for operating the Disability fund, the committee allocated funds for Business Support, Special needs support, and Organizational support among others.

Forty-five (45) PWDs comprising Nineteen (19) males and twenty-six (26) females were provided with various forms of business support.
Items presented included a wheelchair, fridges, a fufu machine, an oven, bicycles, industrial sewing machines, a knitting machine, food items, an ice chest, a spraying machine, cooking utensils, and farm tools.
