DONATION BY SOCIAL WELFARE

The Assin Foso Municipal Assembly on 9^th December 2022 together with the Social Welfare and Community Development supported various Persons-With-Disabilities in the Municipality. This presentation was made as a result of recommendations by the social service sub-Committee.

In line with the stipulations of the guidelines for operating the Disability fund, the committee allocated funds for Business Support, Special needs support, and Organizational support among others.

Forty-two (42) PWDs comprising twenty (20) males and twenty-two (22) females were provided with various forms of business support.
Items presented included fridges, ice chests, an oven, wheelchairs, a welding machine, a fufu machine, food items, sterilizing machine, school fees, and a sewing machine.
